Truthfully I am trying out something different and I just wanted to put something down on paper to see how it looks. I am not sure what these blogs will be about but I’m sure it will come to me it always does. Movies have always been an important part of my life. Many of my best memories are of sharing a movie with my Mom. It helped us to bond and get closer during a trying time in our relationship. She introduced me to classic films on the late late show, keeping me interested with a running dialog full of trivia and movie facts. We both suffered from insomnia, so we watched movies on TV, sometimes all night long. This is how I came to love movies that were made before I was born. I have passed that love of old movies on to my own children and my grand daughter. My guess is that this is what my blog will be about…passing on that appreciation to the next generation.
