I am a movie buff, a trivia nut and a Mom, truly a dangerous combination. I have been a parent for over thirty years and I hope to help other parents with this site so they are better informed about what their kids want to see. I know what it’s like to go to a movie with your child that’s “rating appropriate” for their age only to be embarrassed or surprised by the content of the film, especially your pre-teens. I will be using a 1 to 5 star scale to rate the films. I will also include a description of anything that might be bad, scary or too adult for younger children to view. Then you can decide if you want them to see that. If you have any movies you would like me to review that are not on the site, leave me a note and I will answer as soon as I can.

Thanks,me too. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I was embarrassed to see a movie with my kids and of course you have to pretend your not so they don’t get embarrassed too. Violence is also an issue especially in PG 13 movies, I don’t believe the rating system has enough depth.
